I cannot believe it. I'm updating our blog. Well, I think it's safe to say that the kids are in college now. It does seem like a life time has passed. I decided to update today bc Cassie emailed me about blogging about the boys in the Lebonheur website. She was curious about anything funny that Nathaniel had said lately. I just laughed because he's been spewing off random and hilarious things. He's fully potty trained now...thank the good Lord, and when I dropped him at school last week, he looked up at me with the most serious of all serious faces (I really thought he was going to say, "we forgot my bankie"...which would have constituted the rapture right there and then) and said, "momma! Don't shoo shoo in your underwear! If you need to go, call me!" I just said, "thank you Nathaniel. I appreciate the reminder and your support." As I got into my car, I just lost it. I was laughing out loud. By myself. Always fun. We all went to Pickwick last weekend. It was a lot of fun. Nathaniel sleeps upstairs in the loft. So, it can be challenging getting him to sleep...well it used to be...now I just drug the kid. We had put him to bed, came downstairs, and were all enjoying eachother. We were laughing and talking then we hear Nathaniel yell, "I'm trying to sleep up here!" he said it with such sincere anger. Hilarious. Last but not least, all 3 of us were in the target dressing room. I was trying on clothes and Nathaniel looks at my bottom and yells, "momma, is that your penis?" I responded no, that is my bottom. I was thinking, what in the world? My penis? Is something hanging from my bottoom? Then he proceeds to say, "momma your booty is.....(I'm just bracing myself for whatever could come out of his mouth...I really do think the target workers and fellow try-er on-ers stopped what they were doing in anticipation of what would fly out of his mouth)...TOO CUTE!" I started laughing along with about 5 other bystanders. Phew! That could have been bad. I was prepared to say, "well it would not look that way if I hadn't of carried you and brother for 18 months. Pleasantly surprised I didn't have to go down that road.
Palmer is 8 months old. I've started calling him "bi-polar Palmer" he's either grinning eat to ear or screaming his head off to the point where I think it is highly likely his head could explode. He's such a blessing. I cannot imagine our family with out him. He has me wrapped around his pinky. He's a momma's boy. There are some days that I think he would gladly reside in my uterus until he's 20.
The most exciting news I have is that my little sister is getting MARRIED on August 13...of this year...:) I'm so very thrilled. Matt is such a stud! They are just 2 phenomenal people. It really blesses my heart to see them together. They love our boys and our boys love them. I'm sure I'll blog more about these 2 love birds in about a month.
