"Random With a Little Halloween on The Side"

helping dad...
seconds before half the blooms disappeared...

eating some blueberries after playing outside...

beautiful boy...

so sweet...

mad monkey...

cool monkey...

loves these boots...

happy halloween...this one was kinda freaky...

happy, happy, happy...

the expression I get right before I say, no touch!

fun times in the closet...

and the first pumpkin is picked!

and the obsession begins...

"Easily Entertained!"

Well, it never fails. Whenever I am overwhlemed, sad, mad, or just annoyed, Nathaniel does/says something that plucks me right out of whatever funk I was in. I love having a constant reminder that our Lord calls us to have faith like a child. Not faith like our pastor, Mother Theresa, or anyone else you may hold in high esteem, but faith like a child. Life really can be so simple.

"Crazy Man in the Garden"

Recently, we went to Botanic Garden with my parents and Cassie. We had a blast. Not that I did not already know this, but my parents will do ANYTHING to make Nathaniel laugh. In the above picture is my father jumping on a tree limb that had fallen down. What I failed to capture were the people who were TRYING to enjoy the peaceful scenery.
Nathaniel bossing the ducks around.
Looking for someone else to boss around.
Playing with a stick close to a painting that is worth more than our house. This is what happens when I run to the bathroom...thanks, woowoo!
Nathaniel and his stick.

"Speechless?!?!?"

There are no words to describe the way Nathaniel acts in public. My parents, Cassie, "Mr. Drama King", and myself went out to lunch recently and my sister was able to PERFECTLY capture his usual antics...never a dull day with this child... "being provoked"

"here we go"

"i am going to kill you"

"just kidding, mom!"

"the resting period"...arms go behind the head and he laughs for about 1 minute and then it starts all over again. Yes, I know the top button on his collar is buttoned...I wish I had a good explanation for this...

"Football Fun!"

We recently went to an ECS football game. Nathaniel liked watching the game, but LOVED watching the band...haha...Nathe loved this.

Brady, Em, and Nathaniel...he was pretty infatuated with this toy...

"Before and After"

The other night we were actually able to capture our son's usual facial expressions while I am fixing his dinner and after he eats his dinner! We are working on "being patient"...both of us! The "before" is not very clear because he has not yet mastered the talent of posing in a still manner while throwing a complete fit...imagine that! Notice the belly growth...wow!

"A Bouncy Seat and SO Much More!"

I was in the kitchen cooking one night and I heard Nathaniel jumping and jumping and then silence...so I peeked around and discovered that he was winding up his bouncy seat, tucking his feet in, and spinning! What a genius.
